Promotion to Senior Lecturer
Details on requirements for promotion to Senior Lecturer for the May 2012 round will be posted on the Human Resources website in due course. Details of the teaching practice element of promotions and the next submission date for this element are given below.
Teaching practice element of promotion
To meet the requirements of the teaching practice element, candidates will need:
- a teaching observation
- a written submission
- a statement from the Dean of School (or the Dean's nominee)
A guidance document on the Teaching Practice element of promotion is available to download. The guidance summarises the criteria that need to be satisfied and explains how the requirements can be met at different levels of achievement.
Prospective candidates should note that submissions for teaching practice assessment must be received by Jo Wilkins or Jayne Spendlove in the Teaching Centre office by Wednesday 11 April 2012.
Teaching observations should be booked as soon as possible with Jo Wilkins, Teaching Centre Administrator (j.wilkins@lboro.ac.uk)
