Stochastic Analysis: A UK-China Workshop

Travel, local and accomodation information
UK and China have built strong research communities in stochastic analysis. There have already been many interactions and fruitful collaborations between researchers in this area from both of these countries. The aim of the workshop is to bring more British and Chinese researchers together to discuss recent work in stochastic analysis. During the week of the workshop, Professor Shige Peng will receive an honorary DSc degree from Loughborough University. The workshop will be in connection with this special event.
The conference will be particularly, though not exclusively, concerned with the following inter-related topics
a) Stochastic partial differential equations
b) Stochastic dynamical systems
c) Backward stochastic differential equations
d) Nonlinear expectation
e) Dirichlet forms
f) Rough paths
g) Stochastic differential geometry

We particularly encourage young researchers to participate in the workshop. We will arrange certain sessions for young people to speak. There will be a poster session on Tuesday afternoon, with posters displayed throughout the week. This should also help to ensure that young researchers find themselves interacting with other researchers.
There is a limited amount of funding to help with cost of campus accommodation and basic food for UK based PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to participate.
