Students on the Geography and Management programme can choose to take the degree over four years (‘sandwich degree’) by including a year-long professional placement in industry either in the UK or overseas.

This is organised by the School of Business and Economics and provides a valuable opportunity to gain work experience before graduating. Students may gain an additional qualification – a Diploma in Professional Studies – at the end of this placement.
