Analytical Science team wins Da Vinci 'Newcomer' Award 2008

We are delighted to announce that Aref Zayed, PhD student in Analytical Chemistry, Dr Barry Sharp, Senior Lecturer in Analytical Science, and Dr Helen Reid, Lecturer in Analytical Science, have won the Da Vinci 'Newcomer' Award 2008 for their project 'Lab-based in-vitro tests to determine individual patient response to chemotherapy'. The award entitles them to a pathfinder award of £15,000 which is funded by the MRC.
