Submission to Meetings of Academic Promotions Committees

Summary of Procedures and Key Dates

• On receipt of guidance, procedures and criteria, Deans to circulate copy to all academic staff and other relevant staff in School
• Deans, Associate Deans and Heads of Department in each School to consult and identify suitable candidates
• Candidates to alert Teaching Centre as soon as decision taken to submit application
• Dean and candidate to ensure all three Teaching Centre requirements completed by Wednesday 11 April 2012
• Candidate to submit form to HR Adviser detailing how non-teaching practice elements have been achieved no later than Tuesday 1 May 2012
• Promotions Committees to meet in late May

• Approved promotions effective from 1 July 2012
